In this category of JA Bodyworks Fitness Classes, you can find all strength training routine targeted on specific muscle groups, from compound exercises to isolation exercises to ensure maximum growth in your lean muscle tissues. All strength training workout plans are specifically designed by our team of trainers to ensure stimulation to your muscles so that you can reap the effects of strength training, which is what Craft is about!

 

I don’t want bulky muscles, should I avoid strength training?

….. Strength training is vital for an overall fitness program, regardless of gender or age and strength is a key component of health and fitness. Despite its reputation as a “guy” or “jock” thing, strength training is for everyone because it reduces body fat and increases lean muscle mass. With more lean muscles, you will burn more calories efficiently even when asleep!

If bulky muscles are so easily built, why would the big guys suffer with big plates?

Why our waistline are increasing, rapidly!

…… As person age, muscles degenerate and without strength training or weight-bearing exercises, body fat percentage will increase and metabolic rate will decrease. That explains why our waistlines are increasing as we aged, even though there are not many changes to our diet!

Strength Training helps you to maintain or even improve your muscle mass, at ANY age.

 Bodyweight: Push-Ups, Squats, Lunges and many other more functional exercises

Suspension Training: Additional challenge to make bodyweight training more effective (E.g. Atomic Push-up)

Door Gym Power Cords: Reduces Impact to joints but with the same effect reaped from doing weights training (E.g. Squats to Press, The Freak, The Beast and more)

VigourBands: Our customized equipment can allow you to perform 300 over exercises, from Chest Press to Torso Rotation, you will be surprised!
